Ling cod are known as the dragon of the sea. Their delicate white meat is prized table fare.

Locations: Seattle (Shilshole Marina), Edmonds, Kingston, Everett, Langley (Whidby Island) and many others in the San Juan Islands including Deception Pass (Cornet Bay) and Anacortes (Washington Park), Friday Harbor, Roche Harbor and Orcas Island

Salmon

April to September

5 hr trip: 6-11am or 12-5pm

King (chinook) includes winter blackmouth and summer kings

Silver (coho) are fished in June and July for resident coho, then in the fall the big coho run in from the ocean offering an aggressive and action packed fishery

Pink (humpy) salmon arrive by the millions every other year in odd numbered years

Due to consistent productivity and longer season, all shrimp trips will be in the scenic San Juan Islands Deception Pass (Cornet Bay), Anacortes (Washington Park), Friday Harbor, Roche Harbor, and Orcas Island

What to Expect

We welcome groups, families and kids ages 6 and up

It’s the PNW so dress appropriately in layers with rain gear

Bring sunscreen (no sprays!!), sunglasses, hats and cameras

Licenses available on board for $ 10 (free if private boat is booked)

Bring drinks and snacks, but please refrain from bringing hard alcohol or glass bottles

The boat is a no smoking vessel and USCG regulations prohibit drugs on board (even marijuana)

I can’t guarantee you’ll catch fish, but will use my experience to give you the best chances of bringing fish home
